Tommi,

Thank you for your prompt reply, and helpful information. I've attached
five files. I'm not sure how familiar you are with lightwave, so I am going
to explain everything. If you're familiar with lightwave, or have it on
your comp so you can load up the scene file, you probably already know the
following, or at least can see it in action.

'LowPolyTreev4.lws'- This is the lightwave scene file. It is important
because it contains reference objects, one-point objects that the branch
textures refer to, and whose transformations are identical to those that
need to be made on the image map (branch2Mapv3.png) for proper placement on
the 4 branch poly-groups. 'branch1 RefObj' is for the map's placement on
the branch1 poly-group (which are the polys with the 'branch1' texture). And
so on, through branch 4. The above maps all project "up" from the ground,
along the "axis" of the tree trunk.
-Other mapping info: the 2 polys, one with texture 'branch5a' and the other
'branch5b', each have their own image map. These maps project respectively
on the two remaining axi of the tree, "front" and "side". They have no
reference objects, as they fit their respective polys exactly. The trunk1
texture is lightwave specific and has no map (it's a procedural), so it'll
probably just be solid brown, which is fine.
-Also in scene file: the 'Null' object is one point, and it's a lightwave
camera target, so ignore it.

'FullTreev1.lwo' -Tree object file, with seven textures, which the lws file
references. It has 58 polys now.

'branch2Mapv3.png' -Image map for branch poly-groups 1 thru 4
'branch5aMapv3.png' -Image map for poly with surface 'branch5a'
'branch5bMapv3.png' -Image map for poly with surface 'branch5b'

That's it. Good luck getting the maps on correctly.

Isaiah
