I did desc the catalysm's nature as well.  It would be an explosive
shockwave, equivalent to a thermonuclear blast in our world, but with
different effects.  If you try and imagine what the hiroshima explosion
would have been like if it had been syrup, and designed by ILM, and more
controllable, then you'll have the general idea.

It's amazing  -  posts are posted to this list called things like "it is
decided" and "the answer," and they cause even more debate.  Wierd.  Can't
we agree on anything?

I think that Hook's answer would be the easiest to implement.  I think it
needs work and polish, but the points he has raised are valid and need to be
considered.  A war between Gods is too far fetched under our system of
deities, and wizards etc etc yadda yadda, I'm sure people know the
objections by now.

Why hasn't this idea been given more consideration?
