My opinion is that normal races (humans, elves, orcs etc) shouldn't
have much symbolic magic. I'd prefer they would use mostly divine
(religious?) magic or have some innate magical abilities to avoid
abundance of teachers. On the other hand those races which are
very old and rare (moon elves, necrolytes?) could know many
magical symbols besides their innate abilities and lack divine magic
almost completelly (moon elves and necrolytes don't worship gods,
right?).

(Currently my Brahjian tribe use 99% religious magic and ALCHEMY,
so will do my other human tribe. I considered giving some symbols to
Vorack but they don't actually need those either for they have innate
abilities and religious magic).

Since common opinion, I recall, was that races are decendant of some
ancient races I considered that they left monuments, cities etc which
could have many symbols. I placed one of those cities in Osthel and
placed Osthelian pixies to guard it (pixies are virtually unkillable so
no fear that anyone could enter in the city with hack&slash style).
There shouldn't be too much these cities around (I probably place
another in Gean) and they could be mostly ruins guarded by some
creatures.

We have currently few larger magical areas in Majik (Black waste
and Sol'Daran) and my opinion is that there shouldn't be anymore
these larger areas but there should be much more these smaller
areas (cities, monuments, nodes) which alter nearby surroundings
if people can JUSTIFY their existance or at least that is how I feel,
howabout you?

I and Mandor both use nodes (places where natural magic flourishes)
but should those nodes also affect spellcasting (ruin spellcasting,
allow spellcasters to tap mana from them?) other than of those with
natural abilities. We also had pretty argue with transportation spells
earlier and now I suggest system which uses something compareable
to Ley-lines (if that's how it is spelled) which means there would be
magical "veins" where magic runs through the Majik and when these
lines cross eachother they form previously mentioned nodes.

Those with innate abilities or spell knowledge could use these node
points to travel between two nodes, there might be only one way
"vein" to follow so not all nodes should be connected to each other.
If we make nodes quite rare we could prevent wizards just from
moving one direct place to another,  it is true that they can move
from continent to another but they still probably have a long walk to
the place where they need to go.

I also want know destiny of my moon magic, will there be those
moon symbols or will I change it to religious magic powered by
some god? I also request herbal healing but it shouldn't be very
strong unles herbs are picked near nodes or other areas where
nature magic flourishes. Since my brahjians use alchemy I
request also alchemic magic. I also want know do we have
many different magic types which exist in nature (nature magic,
chaotic magic, neutral magic etc) which would be good
explanation to some magical creatures.

Is divine magic same as true name magic or is it the one which
is powered by the Gods?
