I have libstdc++-2.9.0-24 (The RPM) installed on my system (RH 6.1) and made a symbolic link as follows: "ln -s libstdc++-2-libc6.1-1-2.9.0.so libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3" Majik runs, what can I say? =] I would rather have compiled the source myself, but I run Mesa 3.1, and that (along with plib) seems to cause problems. There are a *bunch* of unresolved symbols, etc and the make errors out. Does anyone see the point of having Majik compile against Mesa 3.1, or did I upgrade for dumb reasons.. =] I noticed I now get 3 - 5 fps now! Up from .4 last version..Heh.. I hate non-accelerated 3d cards.. =] Anyone see XFree86 4.0 helping to take care of this? ---------------------------------------------------------------- Charlie was a chemist, but Charlie is no more, what Charlie thought was H2O, was H2SO4 ---------------------------------------------------------------- ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kevan Benson" <kentrak@sonic.net> To: <majik-users@majik3d.org> Sent: Tuesday, February 15, 2000 9:18 PM Subject: Re: libstdc++ incompatability with Redhat. > I will try to compile it, but the library I am talking about is libstdc, not Mesa.
