I checked redhat's ftp site and apparently redhat doesn't currently
provide the newest version of libstdc++ (2.10) that the binary was
linked against (we're mostly running up-to-date Debians).

If you can't get that libstdc++ anywhere else the solution would be to
compile the source yourself. More detailed build instructions are in the
README.
