a agree the sages should be as old as the new gods some even older....basicly i see Azlok as one of the youngest sages born durring the war between the gods some 9000+ years before the cataclysm (now)....i guess the watermark in terms of age should be at least as old as when the god war ended....

One thing ppl who are making sage descs right now should think about is what was going on between the time when namhas made the world and when the god wars occured this time is almost undifined and presumably when most if not all sages were born.

This brings up a point in making sages....if you are going to design a sage before you get to deep into it ask some one what they think....like yorka, myself, drshn, beregar and harum, dazzt and namhas might help...when i wrote my azlok desc i ran it by yorka first to see if it melded with sage phylosophy. ( i still have the IRC log of the conversation) You don't have to give all your secrets away if you don't want to but at least put forth some of the majior stuff before you write 20 pages. And be very sure that you read the sage stuff in the world book before you write anything.
