IMO yes - it is impressive indeed. There is something elevated in it - perhaps the symbol of wisdom - an old man.
It works as a whole with the text 'Majik' by the side and the entirety contains the most important piece of information: the 'www.majik3d.org'. Of cource the concept can be changed - and should vary depending the purpose - if the coin itself is kept. The coin might also look prominent as a desktop icon.
I like the 'namhasymbol' logo.
