Will NPCs be "smarter" than NPCs in other MMORPGs? I hate NPCs walking around in circles, saying the same stupid things! Also, will most shops be run by NPCs or will it be mostly player-based? Because most people don't want to sit down in front of their computer just to sit at a shop all day!

NPCs most likely will have a decent AI, and be able to do almost any task. And yes shops will be ran by npcs, but you as a player can run a shop if you so wish, or even own a shop but hire a NPC shopkeeper to tend to the store for you.

I dunno, just popped in my head. Got sick of seeing NPCs standing around like humanoid signs.
