Problem running Majik

Am running Redhat 6.0 with plib installed.
Have Mesa and Glide installed and configured.
When I run majik I get this error:

[sam@sampc majik]$ ./majik
bash: ./majik: cannot execute binary file

Strange error I think ;)

Binary file is executable (chmod 755).
Running as a user or root makes no difference.
